Coach Steve Jones is entering his 13th season in the Glencoe program. The 2011-12 season will be his first as head varsity coach. He has perviously been the head JV coach for 5 years. In 2008 Coach Jones’ Tide JV’s finished with an impressive 7-1 record. He also guided the 2006 JV team to an undefeated 9-0 record.
Coach Jones attended Olympic College (Bremerton) where he played baseball and football. He later transferred to PSU and played two seasons for the Vikings. Coach Jones and his wife, Laurie, have three sons, Nicholas, Keenan, and Michael.
2011 will be Coach John Davais' 12th year at Glencoe and seventh with the varsity. He will once again serve as the Tide's Defensive line and running backs coach. Prior to his current assignment, Davais had been a Youth Head Coach for five years.
Coach Davais is a Hillsboro businessman that attended Portland State University. He and his wife, Cindy, have two children. His son, Alex was a member of the 2007 State finalist Glencoe football team. His daughter, Hannah, is 15 years old.
